A 19th century French Empire style bronze and marble mantel clock, with drum case supported be an eagle, silvered dial signed H. Lepaute, Paris, unsigned countwheel movement, 17.75in.

Some slight rubbing to the high points on the bronze bezel, patination is a dark rich colour, may well be later patinated, dial looks to be the original silvering with some oxidisation marks, marble case with a few minor nicks at the corners particularly the lower front but overall in good condition, movement looks in good clean order although not tested for timekeeping.
