A Chinese pale celadon jade 'lotus leaf' brush washer, the bowl formed from the curling leaf, the handle carved in openwork with leaves and tendrils, the stone of good even tone, the underside with some russet and dark brown inclusions, 9.1cm

Stone has natural veining and inclusions, the top of the curl of the leaf there is a slight natural fault to the edge with a tiny shallow chip to it measuring 2 x 1mm. Otherwise in good condition.
