A large Chinese bronze reliquary, Tang dynasty, the compressed globular body with stepped cone shaped finial to the cover, on a circular spreading foot, mineral coloured patination and encrustations all over, 61cm

A heavy mineral encrustation and earth to the interior of the cover finial, is completely in tact with no splits, cover has to be rotated slightly to fit properly, otherwise good condition.
