Miniature of a young lady wearing a cameo brooch, inscribed in pencil verso and dated 1846, 4.25 x 3in. and an unsigned miniature of a lady circa 1900, 2.5 x 2in.

Collen - loose in leather case - ivory is curved up at the sides and a little dirty. Colours good, no sign of any damage. Comes with an oval aperture gilt metal mount, glass and case which shows light wear. Purchased from Whittington Fine Art in Jan. 1999 for £750.
Other miniature - on ivorine, good clean condition, gilt locket frame with some oxidising. Purchased from Whittington Fine Art in Nov. 1997 for £365.
