A Chinese huanghuali tree bough shaped brush pot, 18th / 19th century, the exterior carved as a gnarled tree bough with branches, 12.5cm

Occasional minor scratch, has a nice patination to it, generaly in good condition, the growth rings to the branch from which the piece has been carved can be seen from beneath. There is ink staining to the interior where the pot has probably been used for pens. The piece is 12.5cm high and has a maximum width of 10.6cm. Weight approx. 330 grams
