An early 19th century Russian 84 zolotnik silver and niello snuff box, of rectangular form, with interior inscription and decorated with rural scenes, assay master, Nicholai Brubovin, Moscow, 1826, 3.25in.

The condition is average. The lid is split top back right corner. There is a small split to the top of the back right side panel by the hinge. There is a larger split on the adjacent side. There are 4 small dent's/dings to the front panel. Most of the niello is present however there may be some minor wear to the decoration in line with age and use. Marks relatively clear.
