A Chinese blue and white waisted brush pot, Jiajing mark, Kangxi period, painted with two phoenixes amid clouds and flames, the six character mark within a double circle, 13cm., broken and re-stuck

The brush pot has two large sections of the rim broken and re-stuck with some associated hairline cracks, there is old glue around the joins and there is remnants of glue on the surface in places, otherwise minor scratching to the glaze.
