Oil on original canvas in good untouched condition, canvas still tight, paint would probably benefit from a gentle clean, a little fine but stable craquelure in the blue of the sky, but no real faults noted, monogrammed and dated 1882 bottom right. Artists title and inscription verso, in the original gilt scroll frame which is equally in good order.
