Watercolour on paper which looks rather flat and may well be laid down, some light fading of the paint but still retaining fair strength of colour, foxing showing throughout the work most notably across the top particularly towards to the top left corner, signed and dated lower right, in the original glazed gilt gesso frame which is in good condition.
