A Barr Flight & Barr Imari palette porcelain teapot, coffee can and two dishes, c.1809, decorated with a typical polychrome and gilt enamel design of exotic birds amongst rockery and foliage in an Oriental garden, impressed mark BFB under crown, teapot 23cm

Teapot
1mm patch where the gilding has flaked off the scalloped rim of the teapot. The occasional minor firing imperfection- there is a tiny unglazed spot in the groove where the spout joins the body of the teapot, and traces of underglaze blue around the foot of the teapot. Occasional minor scratching to the glaze and wear to the gilding, but otherwise the teapot appears to be in good condition.
Teapot Cover- has been restored and overpainted and there are patches where the paint is starting to flake away.
Coffee can
Some loss of gilding to the base rim approx. 35mm, occasional minor surface scratching to the enamels and gilding, otherwise good condition.
Dish 1
Some visible scratching to the enamels and wear to the gilding. Typical wear to the base and occasional minor surface scratching to the porcelain.
Dish 2.
2 more pronounced scratches to the enamel measuring approx. 15mm and 10mm, visible scratching to the enamel and wear to the gilding particularly visible on the edge of the rim. Typical wear to the base and occasional minor surface scratching to the porcelain.
