An early 19th century Staffordshire pearlware figure of an arched tiger, modelled on a naturalistic riverbed base with bocage, 13.5cm, damages

The upper protruding section of the bocage has smashed and been restuck and formally stapled together with some missing sections to both the front and reverse, as well as visible staple holes. One of the flower heads is missing leaving an unglazed stump, and there significant losses to a further 2 flower heads as well as less noticeable chipping to other flower heads. The tiger displays some flaking to the glaze, the largest patch being on the outside tail measuring approx.. 7mm x 3mm. Areas of typical light crazing to the glaze, as well as occasional minor surface scratching and occasional firing imperfections.
