Estimate £300-500

Both prints laid down onto a paper backing, surface remains flat but with some sign of a raised central vertical crease and a little undulation on the view of the fountain and square, paper is discoloured to a buff coloured tone, blue of the sky strong, other colouring is fairly weak and a little faded, Ripetta has two prominent damp spots showing centre of the sky, the other view has small fox marks and damp spots again in the sky, also showing fox marks elsewhere in the print, Ripetta has been eglomise glazed showing the title, in the other image the title is concealed behind the glazing which differs slightly from the other, both in matching gilt gesso frames which are now looking rather tatty, these prints have all the appearance of having been framed and glazed approx. 100 years ago or more.
