An early Victorian silver and agate mounted vinaigrette by Nathaniel Mills, of square form, with engraved initials and pierced foliate grille, Birmingham, 1845, 1.5in.

There are two tiny surface abrasions to the surface of the agate in the form of a chip and crack, but does not run through the stone. There is a small hole in the bottom rear right corner of the box which appears to have been part of construction but unsure of purpose?? There are numerous small suface abrasions to both sides of the base agate, none of which appear to run through the stone. Overall condition is otherwise good. Marks clear.
