Oil on thick wooden panel which has slightly bowed horizontally, curling inwards at the top and bottom, clearly untouched for many years, varnish now with a rather yellowish tone and splitting to reveal a rather broad but stable craquelure, various small dirt marks scattered throughout, the sign on the left hand side is inscribed J. King indistinct below it, this may or may not be the name of the artist, overall honest condition and should clean to good effect, in a later burr walnut frame which has a few minor edge chips, old label verso for L. Greco Art Galleries of Chelsea.
