A pair of Chinese blue and white ‘garden’ dishes, Kangxi period, each painted to the centre with a deer, crane and other birds among antiques, shrubs and a garden fence, within panelled borders of blossoming branches, the underside with artemisia leaf mark and flower sprigs, 36.5 and 37cm diameter, fritting and glaze chips

Condition:
Both dishes have fritting and ‘burning’ to the edge and some have occasional tiny splinter glaze chips. Both dishes have some scratching to the glaze on the interior and one of the dishes is missing areas of the glazing in the centre in manufacture. No restoration or cracks detected.
