A Japanese ginbari enamel vase, by Hayashi Kodenji (1831-1915), the lobed body decorated in red enamel with a design of bamboo, impressed maker’s lozenge mark and seven character mark to the underside, 15.5cm high

Remnant of glue or lacquer around the edge of the metal foot, some wear to the base consistent with age and use, enamel in good condition with no evidence of chips cracks or restoration.
