Two unusual 19th century intricately white worked children’s dresses, one hand worked with fine panels of white work, feather stitching and tucking, edged and inserted with hand made Valenciennes lace, the other worked in alternate bands of heavily worked white work and Valenciennes lace insertions, with feather stitching and embroidery anglaise edges, longest dress 51cm at the front. Condition - minor repair to lace edging, no stains to either.
