A 19th century German Erzgebirge pine painted Noah's Ark together with a good quantity of carved and painted wooden animals, the ark decorated with trompe l’oeil architectural features, geometric patterns, Gothic windows, etc. with a painted dove to the roof, the side panel is removable for access, plus six naïvely carved figures representing Noah and his family, the whole 56cm long, height of the ark 35cm

Condition:
In generally fair condition, with the bow and part of the deck detached. There is also some paint loss, staining and dirt overall. All parts of the ark are present, although detached. There are a good number of animals all in good playworn condition with some minor damage etc.
