A Chinese rock crystal tripod censer and cover, ding, early 20th century carved with a pair of lion mask handles, on three zoomorphic feet, the domed cover with lion-dog finial, 11.5cm wide, small fracture to cover
Provenance: brought back from Shanghai circa 1940.

Condition:
There are natural inclusions to the stone, there appears to be a polished out splinter chip next to one of the handles. The cover has a large internal fracture which is difficult to say whether it was made in manufacture or has been damaged. Otherwise in good condition.
