A large Chinese Ming style blue and white dish, possibly 18th century, painted with peony sprays to the centre, the cavetto with lotus flowers leaves and tendrils, the wide rim with flower and fruit sprays, metal mounted rim, unglazed base with a border of lotus flowers, leaves and tendrils, 44.5cm diameter

Condition:
Typical minor glaze imperfections. There is scratching to the glaze all over, the rim has been later metal mounted so we are unable to examine the condition of the edge of the dish, otherwise in good condition with no restoration, chips or cracks detected.
