A Chinese famille rose baluster vase, Yongzheng period (1723-35), finely painted with a scholar, two ladies and an attendant standing on a garden terrace with precious objects laid out on a table, beside them two phoenixes flying amongst peonies, the shoulder with a band of tight scrolls and flowers, the lower register with a band of pendant lappets, underglaze blue double circle to base, 35.5cm high, star crack to side

Condition:
There is a large star crack to the shoulder, occasional scratching to the glaze and some occasional wear to the enamels in places, a little grubby in places, otherwise in good condition with no chips or restoration detected.
