Condition:
Head of youth looking to the right, signed and dated 1839, 46 x 39cm - ground paper a little evenly discoloured perhaps with more discolouration running down the right hand margin, numerous scattered fox and dirt marks throughout but colours remain strong, looks to be retained in an original old mount underneath a later card mount, glazed with modern plain gilt frame. Head of girl looking to her left, signed but not dated, 48 x 36cm - ground paper evenly discoloured, acid marks showing around the edges along with numerous fox and dirt spots, fair strength of image, a little red chalk used on her cheeks and necklace, matching framing but with lilac coloured card mount. Girl looking full on, with pink card mount, signed but not dated, 45.5 x 37cm - ground paper evenly discoloured, numerous scattered dirt and fox marks and a further inverted U shaped mark lower left, signed but not dated, matching framing. Girl looking to her right, in lilac mount, signed but not dated, 46 x 36cm - evenly discoloured paper, scattered dirt and fox marks Girl looking to his left, with pale yellow mount, signed but not dated, 46 x 33cm - ground paper evenly discoloured with dirt around the margins and scattered fox and dirt spots throughout Girl, with pale green card mount, signed and dated 1832, 49 x 38cm - ground paper evenly discoloured, scattered fox and dirt spots throughout, what looks to be a water stain or smear running down from her mouth
