An unusual Victorian Pontypool toleware purdonium, with cast iron loop handles and cast iron tripod foot, painted throughout with flowers on a pale gold ground, W.1ft 7in. D.1ft 4in. H.2ft 2in.

Overall in very good condition, a little light wear and some light craquelure to the flowers on the top with minor rubbing to the paintwork around the edges, interior looks to be original - painted pink with further floral sprays, the faux tassel drops, loop handles and base are all painted in a dark matted gold finish.
