An early 20th century Arts & Crafts silver and shagreen mounted cigarette box with hinged cover, by John Paul Cooper, of rectangular form with rope twist borders, the opening button with flower head back plate and front, cover and rear panels with silver dividers, on four ball feet, the cover interior with small triangular plaque engraved 'JPC', 21.7cm by 9.7cm, height 7.7cm.

Condition:
The cover is a little loose in situ and the cover is slightly raised from the base in places as some warping has occurred. Due to this a small piece of wood and silver has been placed on one hinge to try to counteract this issue, possible repair? Four silver dividers on the cover are raised in places(sprung), as is one on the front panel and one on the rear panel.
