A fine jadeite ring, early 20th century, rubover-set with a cabochon jadeite measuring approximately 10.8 x 7.3 x 4.2mm, to a gold mount with shoulders modelled as dragon's heads, size L1/2, maker's mark LW, stamped 20, gross weight 6 grams

Condition:
Jadeite a rich green of good saturation with good translucency - excellent material. A dark fissure runs through the stone, visible through transmitted light, some typical colour mottling, some surface wear. Some unevenness to edges of setting, jadeite moves very slightly, but secure. Overall stylish and in good condition.
