A large 19th century Chinese baluster jar and cover, with gilt finial, metal mounted rim and hinged latched lid, decorated with panels of noblemen in interiors, flowers, birds and butterflies, height 62cm diameter 36cm
Condition: Light rubbing to the finial, hinge and latch look later, hinge has come apart but just needs a new pin, mount around the rim shows damage to the porcelain beneath but does not show when the lid is in place, one long crack running from the rim to over half way down the side just to the left of the main panel,
