An unusual Japanese ’black ship’ porcelain koro and cover, 19th century, the drum shaped body painted with a black ship and foreign gentleman, on three feet modelled as boys, the pierced cover with boy finial, 12.5 cm across, restorations

Condition:
Finial has been detached and re attached, rest of cover has been restored. One of the ‘boy’ supports has had the bottom half detached and re glued, his feet have also been chipped.
