A George III mahogany bracket timepiece by John Neale, London, brass dial with silvered chapter ring, Roman hour numerals and Arabic minutes, signed John Neale, London, within the arch, brass spandrels and aperture for date wheel, caddy top case with carrying handle, blind brass fretwork panels to the sides, the case raised on four brass feet, glass to rear door, the eight day fusee movement with anchor escapement and engraved back plate is not original to the case, having originally had a strike mechanism which has since been removed, the clock also has a replacement short brass pendulum, 48cm high
