A William IV gold, split pearl and sardonyx set mourning ring, the oval hardstone carved with a moth, the underside of the ring head with plaited hair below a glazed panel, the shank inscribed 'John Bridge who died 9th April, 1834, in his 80th year', size K, gross 5.3 grams.

A few tiny chips to the edge of the wings and the tip of the body on the sardonyx. Nicks and scratches to the shank in places. Later etched numbers/letters near to inscription.
