An early 20th century continental cream hand bobbin lace and linen bed cover. Worked in panels of linen and ornate drawn thread work, between four wider panels of heavy linen hand made bobbin lace. Finished with a narrower bobbin lace edging. 212cm x 222cm. Condition; The lace in various places has lost its bracts holding the lace pattern together which can be mended easily. The lace border needs re attaching in places. Most of the damage is due to laundering and use.
