A late 18th century early 19th century Ottoman Empire bucket shaped reticule, of red velvet, heavily embroidered in raised coiled silver thread work called ‘Zardozi’, with a similar floral designed embroidered cover and a decorative corded handle, 12.5cm high x 15cm wide at base. Condition: The fine cording at the base has worn and there is some wear to the Zardozi raised embroidery of the flower centres from use and age.
