An attractive ruby and diamond cocktail ring, France, collet-set with a cushion-shaped ruby weighing approximately 2.00 carats, within a rectangular border of brilliant-cut and baguette diamonds totalling approximately 0.80 carats, to a geometric mount in the Art Deco style, mounted in 18ct white gold, size N, French assay marks, maker's mark Sté PL with cross, gross weight approximately 19.5 grams

Condition:
Ruby approximately 8.3 x 7 x 3.6mm, calculated weight very approximately 2.00 carats (depth difficult to gauge, cushion shape adds to uncertainty), but excellent, deep red colour and very good clarity, typical inclusions visible under magnification, likely Thai origin but untested and not guaranteed. Mount beautifully made and in good condition, some very minor surface wear.
