A fine George III pink topaz ring, early 19th century, the large elongated cushion-shaped pink topaz weighing approximately 20.00 carats, in a foiled cut down collet setting with fluted decoration to the reverse, to openwork fleur-de-lis shoulders and a plain band, mounted in gold, size P1/2

Condition:
Topaz very attractive, and in good condition, measuring approximately 22 x 13 x 10mm* (10mm depth estimated in mount - full depth including mount 12mm. By family tradition, purchased from Cameo Corner in the 1970s. Minor wear, otherwise kept in good condition, possibly re-foiled and repolished at some point, possibly once part of a larger parure.
