on an oak pedestal with door and storage space within, brass face with silvered chapter rings to the main ring and three subsidiary dials, subsidiary dials for regulation, chime/silent and eight bells/four gongs, heavily carved case and pedestal with steel fretwork panel to rear door, containing a three train fusee movement striking on a coiled gong and chiming on either eight bells or four coiled gongs, overall height including the clock and pedestal 191cm, 57.5cm wide overall, clock 82cm high
