A bloodstone and gold fob seal, mid 19th century, the circular bloodstone matrix engraved with a crest of a reclining leopard wearing a ducal coronet, to a mount applied with twisted wirework set with cabochon garnets and seed pearls, the handle of polished bloodstone topped with a foliate bail, matrix 12mm diameter, height 3cm

Condition:
In good condition, gold with minor wear and discolouration, bloodstone handle is broken beneath cap, but not obvious. Cap possibly later re-attached.
