A late Victorian novelty silver cigar cutter, modelled as a cannon upon a stepped base, with four wheels and single fall front drawer, makers mark rubbed, possibly Hilliard & Thomasson, Birmingham, 1894, overall length 85mm, height 52mm.

Condition:
Drawer front sprung forward and does not close properly. Steel cutter quite rusty. Mechanism works. Two small dents to one side of the base by one wheel. Two slight dents to the other side also. Hallmarks clear apart form the maker's mark.
