After Tiziano Aspetti (1565-1607). A patinated bronze figure of Vulcan, French, late 19th/early 20th century, on a rouge marble base, 46cm high

Condition:
The bronze has a later metal thread holding it in place to the rouge marble base, the top of the thread can be seen between the feet of the figure. The plinth has some shallow edge chips and has a later number inscribed to the base ‘361 3120’, the bronze itself with a dark brown patina.
