A framed 19th century sampler by Emma Harris, aged 11years, dated 1844. Worked with a verse and large baskets of flowers, with many spot motifs of flowers and birds amongst stylistic trees, worked within a vining border, 34cm x 49cm. Condition - some colours have faded and the backing cloth has become stained with age and sun, there are some moth holes to the borders. It may benefit a clean replacement backing to the frame.
