A gilt framed early 19th century silk chenille embroidered and hand painted figurative pastoral scene, framed with black and gold eglomise glass. The embroidery worked in a variety of stitches including stem and knotting stitch, 60cm x 40cm. Condition - the silk has torn across the top of the embroidery and eglomise broken in the lower right corner.
