A Chinese huanghuali throne-shaped dressing cabinet, 20th century, the back carved and pierced with a pair of phoenixes amid flowers and foliage, the sides with pomegranates, above an arrangement of four drawers carved in relief with flowers and foliage, the lower side panels with mythical beast and foliage, the lower back panel with blind fretwork, the shaped corner apron stand and for scrolled feet, 52cm high x 55cm wide x 34.5cm deep

Condition:
The cabinet has a high polish and may have been re-polished at some stage. The table cabinet has some shrinkage and small splits to the huanghuali drawer linings. There is slight shrinkage to the seat panel, otherwise in good condition.
