Two Georgian seals, early 19th century, comprising: a fob seal set with a citrine, carved with a coat of arms surmounted by the coronet of a marquess with the motto 'SICUT ELOS INTER SPINAS' (like a serpent among thorns), matrix 2.2 x 1.6cm, height 3cm excluding later hoop; and a swivel fob seal in rock crystal, with faceted rock crystal handle to a mount of foliate design, length 7.2cm

Condition:
Metal unmarked and untested. Rock crystal seal: seal matrix chipped, and pin holding it in place is deficient on one side - holds in place but easily dislodged. Wear to facet edges. Citrine fob seal in good condition, later suspension hoop split, some minor wear to matrix but overall in good condition. Combined gross weight 38 grams.
