A Chinese white jade ‘rabbit’ snuff bottle, 18th/19th century

A Chinese white jade ‘rabbit’ snuff bottle, 18th/19th century, the rabbit ears folded back and the hind and front legs tucked under its body, the translucent stone with small black and russet inclusions, the eyes inset with red glass, the bottle well hollowed, 6.4cm long.

Condition:
Typical minor natural and carving imperfections including a small ‘dent’ to one side of the body, a small natural crack to the body above the back right leg and another to the front left leg. Bottle lacking stopper. Several abrasions to the eyes.
