A 17th century panelled oak coffer with plain single plank top and fielded panelled sides, on stile feet, 151cm wide, 57cm deep, 85cm high

Condition:
Overall of a rich dark blackish brown tone, a little lighter to the front, top has old splits, patches and damages throughout, hinges are missing as is the lock, interior rather dirty with white mould scattered throughout, sides with old worm holes and other wear, more notably around the feet.
