Oil on canvas relined many years ago, canvas remains tight, slight stretcher marks showing, paint overall rather dirty, signs of old retouching particularly on the wrists, perhaps areas of the face, housed in a period gilt frame which is rather tatty, old Christie's stencil number 33PY verso.
