A tall Loetz Art Nouveau iridescent glass vase, c.1901, the design by Robert Holubetz, student of Koloman Moser, the mouth forming a pair of downswept leaf shaped handles applied to the neck, in Silberiris decor with purple, violet and green iridescent surface, 41.5cm high

Literature: Lötz Böhmisches Glas 1880-1940 Band I Werkmonographie, Prestel, Munich 1989, p.106 (similar shape illustrated). The design was created by Robert Holubetz, one of Koloman Moser’s most talented students at the Vienna School of Applied Arts, who designed the vase in 1901 on behalf of the glass publisher E. Bakalowits Söhne.
