Condition:
Oil painted on to a steel panel which has holes in the top corners just about visible when viewed from the front, heavy nicotine discolouration across the work and over the frame, some rubbing of the paint notably lower left, the figure on the steps and running down the right hand side from the sky at the top, other small areas of paint loss notably top left corner, appears to date to the 19th century with a considerably later and now rather grubby frame. The yellowish colour to the picture and frame is due to the very heavy nicotine coating.
