Condition:
Circular red anchor plate two chips to rim, largest approx. 8x5mm, clearly visible; surface wear to interior affecting enamels; three translucent moons visible. Silver-shape oval dish two hairline cracks inward from rim, each reaching footrim, visible both top and underside and one crack affecting footrim; rim with small chip, not easily seen; some ‘mouse-dust’ around topside perimeter, a factory defect. Gold anchor plate old attempts at restoration of a large chip, approx. 13 x 5cm with re-painting, affecting border and footrim with some re-gilding and re-painting; plate has an unfortunate dark blemish affecting purple flower, clearly visible, believed to be a factory blemish with deeply-inset kiln-dust.
