Condition:
Oil on canvas relined many years ago, canvas remains tight, paint looks a little dirty, possibly with slightly discoloured varnish, a little fine craquelure running most notably in the sky, signed lower left, housed in a later gilt scroll frame which is in fair order and retains the original title plaque, Christie's stencil numbers verso 345WR and 672AH. Collector's seal mark on the central stretcher.
