A Charles II oak armchair, of small proportions, monogrammed AM and dated 1682, the seat fitted with a side drawer, 49cm wide, 55cm deep, 83cm high

Condition:
Of a rich dark blackish, brown to reddish brown oak colour, arms with signs of wear and use, seat with splits running from the back, including a central divided split and a small patch to the left side in line with the lock to the drawer. Small breaks around the escutcheon, lock looks original, but no key. Once had feet, but these have now been worn away down to the level of the stretchers.
