Condition:
Oil on canvas relined many years ago, canvas now with a slight outward bulge, paint and varnish look rather dirty, signs of old tears running through the lower portion of his coat and through the lower neck of the horse, unsigned, housed in a 19th century rather tatty gesso frame with attribution plaque dated 1830.
